Long days!

So I started a new job a few weeks ago and it is a good job i really enjoy it but some day the day just doesn't go by very quick and it seems the faster you want it to go the slower it goes. I'm sure some of you can sympathize with me. But i guess the worst part it that my days off fall on the days Kurt works and vice verse. well i guess i just wanted to wine for a moment so thanks for listening.

The first night of our camp out at about 9pm.

by about 5pm the second day. ya we packed up and went to mom and dads that night. It ended up thundering and lightning and pouring rain out there.

4th of July weekend

ya our boat is way fun, it was totaly worth the work to get it ready for the water.

Kurt was way exited he had never caught a fish befor and he caught three but only got hold of two.

I didn't catch anything though :(

Family

These are my nieces and nephews, on Kurt's side, they are so much fun. We had a little bit of trouble getting the all in the picture but it is always worth it in the end.

While we were at our reunion we went to a parade and got to see the life flight and an Apache up close and the watch then take off. Kurt's cousin made the landing pad for the life flight helicopter.

OK I'm holding one nephew poring juice for his brother with my niece asking for more juice at the same time.

Primer and Paint!

So as you can see Kurt got the boat painted...well he got half of it painted! I like the color its my favorit. So it is alomst ready for the water.

My Garden!

The tomato plants were falling over so Kurt and I built boxes to hold them up so they will grow straight up.

Working on our Boat!!!

Okay, so first we were using our hands and trying to sand the whole entire thing with sand paper, but then we got smart and went and got a wire brush head to go on Kurt's drill. That made things a lot easier and quicker. When we got done we will put a sealant on the bottom of the boat and then it will be ready for the lake and fishing!

Rain, Rain GO A WAY!!!

It has been raining off and on for the last week and is going to continue for another week. i'm not the exited about it because it is over watering my plants.

Working on my Christmas tree!

This was my project but Kurt was afraid I would hurt my self so i wasn't aloud to use the saw just the drill press but with plenty of super vision:) I was making a lollipop Christmas tree and i can't wait till it is done it will be cute...I hope:)

Kurt's Smoker

This is the second picture.

This is one of Kurt's many projects. He is taking the lid of the pipe he has the torch to and is going to weld it to the one in the background. Kurt is one of the only people i know that rain will never stop one of his projects. The top picture is second pipe after he welded the lid on. He also put the chimney on ans well as cut the lid for it but i didn't get pictures yet.
